World Day for AudioVisual Heritage 2012: Audiovisual heritage memory? the clock is ticking

UNESCO declared October 27 as the World Day for AV Heritage to raise awareness of the significance of AV documents and to draw attention to the need to safeguard them. Every year, activities are organized by different institutions worldwide around a theme to drum up interest in the event.

The theme for 2012 is: “Audiovisual heritage memory? the clock is ticking”

Notices of events worldwide are being collated by SEAPAVAA (SouthEast Asia & Pacific Audiovisual Archives Association), a member of CCAAA (Co-ordinating Council of Audiovisual Archives Associations).
